Our knowledge of Spain and Portugal is included in every package, whether guided or self-guided. We specialize in custom, upscale all inclusive tours. Tours feature daily breakfast and either lunch or dinner with wine in distinctive restaurants; all entrances in the itinerary; all land transport; pre-trip documentation; and last, and most importantly, gran reserva guides.

Guides

Whether you are walking the Pyrenees or Barcelona, discussing flora or Modernisme, whatever your Iberian destination, our guides offer an educational and relaxing experience. All of us at Saranjan share the same philosophy of travel—the journey is more important than the arrival.

Accommodations

The accommodations we use include Spanish paradors and Portuguese pousadas, manor houses/quintas and charming private hotels, modern, deluxe city hotels and family-run inns in the countryside. All urban hotels are centrally located, and all our properties are carefully chosen to reflect the route. In Latin America distinct projects include historic and wine lodges. Single occupancy rooms are available on a limited basis for a nightly surcharge.

...is its own reward—in palace or convent, winery or family inn, the regional variety always surprises our guests. And to complement a Valencian paella, or Castilian lamb dish, you'll sample wines from every region—crisp whites from Penedès, delicate albariños from Galicia, hearty reds from Toro and Ribera del Duero, prized tempranillos from La Rioja. We are known, too, for our lavish picnics—your chance to taste a wealth of Iberian cheeses. The table is the gathering place in the Latin world, a place of ritual, where family and friends explore food and ideas and where everyone talks at once!
